Hand Painted Furniture & Other Artistic Creations by Reincarnations

I often get emails asking how our creative process works, as well as questions regarding what happens after an order is placed through us. This section demonstrates the different services I provide in terms of painted furniture, and the different processes involved in creating unique works of functional art.

The painted furniture offered by the Reincarnations Studio falls into several basic types:

Original, one-a kind works, which are featured on our Newest Items page (which can be made from new or vintage furniture, depending on the piece). These pieces are unique, and are removed from the Newest Items page once they are sold.
Original designs created completely within our studio, which can be ordered in quantity, and found in the appropriate catalog section
Items commissioned (ordered) from our Painted Furniture Catalog, painted on new, unfinished furniture
Vintage pieces brought to us by the customer for custom painting

In almost all cases, the basic process of painting our furniture is the same:

Stage One: After the client chooses a furniture piece and design, we begin by carefully sanding and priming the piece

Stage Two: Working with the client, we paint a unique image on the chair

Stage Three: After the client has okayed the design, we apply several clear coats before shipping

Commissioned Works - Ordering from the Catalog

All the Painted furniture designs shown on our site may be custom painted on any type of unfinished wood furniture, including new and vintage pieces. For new unfinished furniture, simply select a design, and supply us with the relevant information necessary (manufacturer's name and manufacturer model number of the piece,). After the cost has been agreed upon and the deposit paid, the piece is then purchased and painted. After any remaining amounts are paid, the piece is shipped to the customer. I also accept commissions on both new and vintage pieces, should the customer wish to ship them to my studio. All shipping or delivery costs are the responsibility of the customer, and are in addition to any other fees.
I also create original furniture and another functional art in my studio. These can be ordered in any quantity, and those painted pieces will vary slightly from the pictured design (making each unique) unless stated otherwise on the listing. I also take custom commissions on an inidividual basis. Should you have any needs for custom built cabinetry of painted furniture, please contact the studio with any inquiries you may have.

The artists of Reincarnations are available for the painting of both commercial and residential murals on a commission basis. Costs for such a project can vary widely, and all travel, consultation, and other expenses are included in the final fee. Please see our Murals page or E-Mail us for more information.
