U.S. PIRG is an advocate for the public interest.
Whenever the consumer is cheated, the environment threatened,
or the voice of the common citizen is drowned out by special interest
groups, this group is there to speak up and take action. The mission
of this group is to "deliver persistent, result-oriented
public interest activism that protects our environment, encourages
a fair, sustainable economy, and foster responsive, democratic
government."
